NVIDIA T600 Laptop GPU
De Nvidia T600 Laptop GPU (of Quadro T600 voor laptops) is een professionele mobiele grafische kaart die is gebaseerd op de Turing architectuur (TU117 chip). Hij is vergelijkbaar met de GTX 1650 voor consumenten, met 896 CUDA-kernen en een 128-bits geheugenbus voor GDDR6 grafisch geheugen (10 Gbits). De chip wordt gefabriceerd in 12nm FinFET bij TSMC. De T600 werd geĆÆntroduceerd als een opfrisbeurt samen met de T1200 en zou iets langzamer moeten zijn dan de oudere Quadro T1000 (2,6 versus 2,5 TFLOPS piek SP prestaties).
De Turing generatie introduceerde niet alleen raytracing voor de RTX kaarten, maar optimaliseerde ook de architectuur van de cores en caches. Volgens Nvidia bieden de CUDA cores nu een gelijktijdige uitvoering van floating point en integer operaties voor betere prestaties in rekenintensieve workloads van moderne games.
Bovendien werden de caches herwerkt (nieuwe unified memory architectuur met twee keer zoveel cache als in Pascal). Dit leidt tot tot 50% meer instructies per klok en een 40% energiezuiniger gebruik vergeleken met Pascal. In tegenstelling tot de snellere Quadro RTX kaarten, beschikt de T600 niet over raytracing en Tensor cores.
Momenteel specificeert Nvidia slechts een TDP van 25 Watt (de oudere T1000 had een TDP van 40-50 Watt). Daarom zou de T600 goed geschikt moeten zijn voor dunne en lichte laptops.
