AMD Radeon RX 6700S

De AMD Radeon RX 6700S is een mobiele high-end grafische kaart voor gaming laptops. Hij maakt gebruik van de Navi 22 chip, gebaseerd op de nieuwe RDNA 2 architectuur. Hij maakt gebruik van 2.304 van de 2.560 shaders (= 36 CU's), 144? TMU's, en 64 ROP's. Het 160-bits geheugensysteem verbindt 10 GB GDDR6 met een geheugenklok van 2 GHz. Verder bevat de RX6800S 80 MB Infinity Cache. AMD specificeerde 2 GHz spelklok voor 7,9 TFLOPS theoretische FP32 prestaties bij een TDP van 80 Watt. Dit betekent dat de GPU in theorie langzamer is dan een Radeon RX 6650M (8,85 TFLOPS). De 6700S is de energiebesparende variant van de RX 6700M en heeft lagere kloksnelheden en een lager TDP.

De gaming prestaties van de RX 6700S zouden vergelijkbaar moeten zijn met die van de Radeon RX 6650M. AMD specificeert dat de prestaties vergelijkbaar zijn met die van een zuinige RTX 3060. Wanneer Raytracing-effecten worden geactiveerd, blijft hij achter bij de GeForce GPU's.

De Navi 22 chip wordt gefabriceerd bij TSMC in het moderne 7nm proces.
