Apple M5 GPU

De Apple M5 10-Core GPU is een geïntegreerde grafische kaart in de Apple M5 SoC (9- en 10-Core), die is ontwikkeld door Apple. Deze biedt 10 cores en ondersteuning voor Core ML, Metal Performance Shader en Metal 4. Nieuw zijn de neurale versnellers in de GPU (tensor cores).

Apple stelt dat de M5 GPU tot 30% hogere prestaties kan bereiken in vergelijking met de M4 GPU. De geïntegreerde ray tracing engine is verder verbeterd (nu 3e generatie) en zou volgens Apple tot 45% hogere prestaties moeten leveren.

De M5-chip wordt gefabriceerd in het moderne N3P-proces bij TSMC (3nm).
