Qualcomm Adreno 660
De Qualcomm Adreno 660 is een smartphone en tablet GPU die geïntegreerd is in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. De chip zal beschikbaar zijn vanaf begin 2020 en zal voornamelijk worden gebruikt in high-end Android-toestellen.
Volgens Qualcomm biedt de Adreno 660 GPU een 35% betere prestatie dan de Adreno 650, zijn voorganger, die geïntegreerd is in de Snapdragon 865 SoC. Qualcomm geeft ook aan dat de energie-efficiëntie met 20% is verbeterd, wat mogelijk te danken is aan het nieuwe 5nm-proces bij Samsung, waar de chip wordt geproduceerd.
De Adreno 650 ondersteunt Vulkan 1.1, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2 en OpenCL 2.0 FP. Verder kunnen games en video's gebruik maken van HDR10+ en Dolby Vision (met een ondersteund scherm).
