Intel i3-10110U

De Intel Core i3-10110U is een energiezuinige dual-core SoC voor notebooks gebaseerd op de Comet Lake (CML-U) generatie en werd aangekondigd in augustus 2019. Vergeleken met de vergelijkbare Whiskey Lake processoren (bijv. Core i3-8145U) is het enige verschil de ondersteuning voor hogere geheugensnelheden (DDR4-2666 vs 2400) en twee extra cores in het topmodel (niet in deze i3, die slechts twee cores heeft). De processorkernen zijn geklokt tussen 2,1 tot 4,1 GHz (alle 4 de kernen zijn maximaal 3,7 GHz). Dankzij HyperThreading kunnen 4 draden worden gebruikt. Dankzij de hoge kloksnelheden zouden de processorprestaties van de i3-10110U iets beter moeten zijn dan die van de oude Core i3-8145U. Met slechts twee CPU cores is de processor echter nog steeds slechts in het instapmodel gepositioneerd en heeft hij een beperkt vermogen voor multitasking.

De geïntegreerde grafische kaart is echter nog steeds hetzelfde als in de vorige generaties. Het zou nog steeds Intel HD Graphics 620 moeten heten en de klok van 300 - 1000 MHz in de i3. Verder integreert de SoC een VP9 en H.265 de- en encoder en een geïntegreerde tweekanaals DDR4-2666 / LPDDR4x 2933 / LPDDR3-2133 geheugencontroller.

De chip wordt nog steeds geproduceerd in het 14nm++ proces als Whiskey Lake. De TDP (PL1) is gespecificeerd op 15 Watt, maar kan worden gevarieerd van 10 tot 25 Watt van de fabrikant (cTDP up/down), wat resulteert in verschillende prestaties (vooral Turbo-duur).
