AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H
De AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H is een processor voor grote (workstation) laptops op basis van de Rembrandt-generatie. De R7 6800H bevat alle acht kernen op basis van de Zen 3+ microarchitectuur. Ze zijn geklokt op 3,2 (gegarandeerde basisklok) tot 4,7 GHz (Turbo) en ondersteunen SMT / Hyperthreading (16 threads). De chip wordt gefabriceerd op het moderne 6 nm TSMC-proces. Dit is een professionele versie van de consumenten R7 6800H met extra beheerfuncties en de Microsoft Pluton Beveiligingsprocessor.
De nieuwe Zen 3+ is een opfrissing van de Zen 3 architectuur en zou niet veel veranderingen moeten bieden. De chip zelf biedt echter veel nieuwe functies, zoals ondersteuning voor USB 4 (40 Gbps), PCI-E Gen 4, DDR5-4800MT/s of LPDDR5-6400MT/s, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth LE 5.2, DisplayPort 2 en AV1-decodering.
Een grote nieuwigheid is de geïntegreerde GPU Radeon 680M die nu gebaseerd is op de RDNA2-architectuur en 12 CU's tot 2,2 GHz biedt. Ten tijde van de aankondiging zou dit de snelste iGPU van allemaal moeten zijn.
Prestaties
De gemiddelde 6850H in onze database komt overeen met Intel Core i7-11800H , AMD Ryzen 7 4800H , AMD Ryzen 9 4900H in multi-thread prestaties. Daarmee ligt hij achter op de krachtige 12e generatie Alder Lake H-processoren, misschien zelfs in beschamende mate. Ondanks dat feit is het nog steeds een meer dan competente optie voor uw 3D-rendertaken en gaming onderweg, aangezien de energie-efficiëntie hier goed is. Meer daarover hieronder.
Stroomverbruik
Deze Ryzen 7 heeft een standaard TDP (ook bekend als de vermogenslimiet op lange termijn) van 45 W. Een krachtige koeling is een must voor een CPU als deze.
De Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H is gebouwd met TSMC's 6 nm-proces voor een geweldige, vanaf eind 2022, energie-efficiëntie.
