AMD R5 5600H

De AMD Ryzen 5 5600H is een processor voor grote (gaming) laptops gebaseerd op de Cezanne generatie. De R5 5600H integreert zes van de acht cores gebaseerd op de Zen 3 microarchitectuur. Ze zijn geklokt op 3,3 GHz (gegarandeerde basisklok) tot 4,2 GHz (Turbo) en ondersteunen SMT voor een totaal van 12 threads. De chip wordt gefabriceerd op het moderne 7 nm TSMC-proces.

De nieuwe Zen 3 microarchitectuur biedt een aanzienlijk hogere IPC (instructies per klok) in vergelijking met Zen 2. Voor desktop-processoren claimt AMD gemiddeld 19 procent en in reviews van toepassingen is een winst van ongeveer 12 procent te zien bij dezelfde kloksnelheid.

Met de verhoogde kloksnelheid en IPC verbeteringen dankzij Zen 3, zou de Ryzen 5 5600H duidelijk sneller moeten zijn dan de lager geklokte Ryzen 7 4600H.

Naast de zes CPU cores, integreert de APU ook een Radeon RX Vega 7 geïntegreerde grafische processor met 7 CU's die draaien op maximaal 1800 MHz. De dual channel geheugencontroller ondersteunt DDR4-3200 en energiezuinig LPDDR4-4266 RAM. Verder is er 16 MB L3 cache te vinden op de chip.

Het TDP van de APU is gespecificeerd op 45 Watt (standaard) en kan worden geconfigureerd van 35 tot 54 Watt door de laptopverkoper.
