Intel i5-11260H

De Intel Core i5-11260H is een middenklasse hexa core SoC voor gaming laptops en mobiele werkstations. Hij is gebaseerd op de Tiger Lake H45-generatie en werd medio 2021 aangekondigd. Hij integreert zes Willow Cove processorkernen (12 threads dankzij HyperThreading). De basiskloksnelheid is afhankelijk van de TDP-instelling en ligt bij 45 Watt op 2,6 GHz. De single en dual core boost snelheid kan oplopen tot 4,4 GHz, alle cores kunnen tot 4 GHz. De CPU biedt 12 MB level 3 cache en ondersteunt DDR4-3200 geheugen.

Dankzij de nieuwe Tiger Lake architectuur zou de i5-11260H in staat moeten zijn om het niveau van de hoog geklokte Intel Core i7-10850H (Comet Lake-H, 6 cores, 2,7 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) te bereiken in single en multi threaded prestaties. Vergeleken met het huidige AMD-aanbod zou de 11260H vergelijkbaar moeten presteren met een Ryzen 5 5600H (6 kernen, 2,4 - 3,3 GHz, 16 MB L3-cache) of de 5600HS wanneer het TDP is ingesteld op 35 W.

De SoC bevatte ook de verbeterde Xe grafische kaart genaamd UHD graphics met alle 32 EU's.

Verder voegen Tiger Lake SoC's PCIe 4-ondersteuning toe (20 lanes in de H45-serie), AI-hardwareversnelling, en de gedeeltelijke integratie van Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 en Wi-Fi 6E in de chip.

De chip wordt geproduceerd in het verbeterde 10nm-proces (genaamd 10nm SuperFin) bij Intel, dat vergelijkbaar zou moeten zijn met het 7nm-proces bij TSMC (bijv. Ryzen 4000-serie). De standaard TDP wordt geschat op 45 W bij 2,6 GHz basissnelheid, bij 35 Watt daalt de basiskloksnelheid naar 2,1 GHz (cTDP omlaag).
