Intel Core i5-13500HX
De Intel Core i5-13500HX is een snelle mobiele processor uit het middensegment van de Raptor Lake serie. Hij werd begin 2023 aangekondigd en bevat 6 snelle Raptor Lake prestatiekernen (P-cores) met HyperThreading en 8 Gracemont efficiëntiekernen zonder HyperThreading. De P-cores klokken tussen 2,5 GHz (basis) tot 4,7 GHz (boost voor één core, all-core 4,5 GHz). De kleinere E-Cores klokken tussen 1,8 en 3,5 GHz. Alle cores hebben toegang tot de gecombineerde 24 MB L3-cache.
Vergeleken met Alder Lake biedt Raptor Lake verbeterde P-Cores (Raptor Cove micro-architectuur) met grotere Caches en meer E-Cores (dezelfde Gracemont micro-architectuur). Bovendien ondersteunt de chip sneller DDR5-geheugen (tot 5600 MHz voor de 13980HX, maar slechts 4800 MHz voor de i5).
Prestaties
De gemiddelde 13500HX in onze database zit in dezelfde klasse als de Ryzen 7 7745HX , Core i7-13705H , Core i9-12900HK , Core i9-13900H , Core i9-13905H wat betreft multi-thread benchmarkscores. Dit is een zeer, zeer snelle CPU, vanaf medio 2023.
Uw ervaringen kunnen variëren, afhankelijk van hoe competent de koeloplossing van uw laptop is en hoe hoog de vermogenslimieten van de CPU zijn.
Stroomverbruik
Het "minimaal verzekerde" stroomverbruik van de chip ligt op 45 W. Het maximale door Intel aanbevolen Turbo-verbruik is 157 W en het basisverbruik zou ongeveer 55 W moeten zijn. De meeste laptopfabrikanten zullen voor een waarde veel hoger dan 55 W gaan om betere prestaties te krijgen.
De i5-13500HX is gemaakt op Intels 4e generatie 10 nm-proces dat op de markt wordt gebracht als Intel 7 voor gemiddelde, vanaf begin 2023, energie-efficiëntie.
