AMD Ryzen 7 2700U

AMD R7 2700U

De AMD Ryzen 7 2700 is een mobile SoC die werd voorgesteld in oktober 2017. De chip combineert vier Zen-cores (8 threads) geklokt aan 2.2 - 3.8 GHz met een Radeon RX Vega 10-GPU met 10 CU's (640 shaders) geklokt aan max. 1300 MHz. Het TDP kan door de laptopfabrikant geconfigureerd worden tussen 9 en 25 Watt (15 Watt nominaal), waardoor de APU eveneens geschikt is voor dunne en lichte laptops. De geïnegreerde dual-channel-geheugencontroller biedt ondersteuning voor DDR4-2400-geheugen. Meer informatie over Raven Ridge kan je vinden in het artikel dat we bij de lancering publiceerden.

De prestaties van de Zen-CPU-cores zouden volgens AMD beter moeten zijn dan die van een high-end quad core van de Kaby-Lake-refresh (bv. de Core i7-8650U). De Ryzen 7 2700U is dus geschikt voor alle applicaties.
