Qualcomm SD 636

De Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 (SDM636) is een mid-range octa-core-SoC met acht Kryo-260 CPU-cores op maat geklokt aan max. 1.8 GHz, een Adreno 509-GPU, een LPDDR4-2666-geheugencontroller (1333 MHz) en een X12-LTE-modem (Cat 13/12, 300 Mbps download / 150 Mbps upload). Daarnaast biedt de chip ondersteuning voor 802.11ac WiFi en Bluetooth 5.0. De SDM636 is gefabriceerd in 14nm-FinFET. Qualcomm maakt gewag van 40% snellere prestaties in vergelijking met de oude Snapdragon 630 (8x ARM Cortex-A53).
