HiSilicon Kirin 710

De HiSilicon Kirin 710 is een ARM-gebaseerd mid-range octa-core-SoC voor Android-gebaseerde smartphones en tablets. De chip werd voorgesteld in het midden van 2018 en beschikt over 8 CPU-cores (4x Cortex-A73 aan max. 2.2 GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 aan max. 1.7 GHz, BigLITTLE), een ARM Mali G51 MP4, een dual-channel LPDDR4-geheugencontroller en een LTE-radio (600 Mbps down, 150 Mbps up). De CPU is dus vergelijkbaar met de Kirin 960 en 970 (beide hoger geklokt), maar de grafische kaart is een stuk trager.

De Kirin 710 is gefabriceerd bij TSMC in 12nm (in vergelijking met de 16nm voor Kirin 960 en 10nm voor Kirin 970).

he HiSilicon Kirin 710F is dezelfde chip met een verschillende package (FCCSP - Flip Chip Chip Scale Package) en beschikt over dezelfde specificaties (zie bv. ons testrapport van de Huawei P Smart Z).
