Mediatek Dimensity 9000+

De MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ (of 9000 Plus) is een high-end SoC met een geïntegreerde 5G-modem. Hij beschikt over een snelle Cortex-X2-kern geklokt op 3 GHz, drie extra A710-kernen geklokt op 2,85 GHz en vier energiezuinige kernen (Cortex-A510) geklokt op 1,8 GHz. De SoC is vervaardigd met behulp van TSMC's nieuwe 4nm-proces. Alle processorkernen kunnen gebruik maken van een gecombineerde 8 MB Level 3 cache en 6 MB System Level Cache (SLC). In vergelijking met de vergelijkbare Dimensity 9000, biedt de 9000 Plus een extra X2-kern geklokt op 200 MHz.

De processorprestaties van de 9000+ zijn zeer goed dankzij de grote kernen en hoge kloksnelheden. Ten tijde van de aankondiging werd verwacht dat het de snelste SoC voor Android-telefoons zou zijn en, afhankelijk van de werkbelasting, zou het zelfs de Apple A15 in de iPhone 13 moeten verslaan (bijv. Geekbench in Multi-Core tests). De Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (in de ROG Phone 6 Pro bijvoorbeeld) zou iets achter moeten blijven bij de Dimensity 9000+ in single en multi-threaded tests.

De geïntegreerde vierkanaals geheugencontroller ondersteunt LPDDR5X met 7500 Mbps. De geïntegreerde GPU is een ARM Mali-G710 MC10 (10 van de 16 mogelijke kernen) en zou 10% sneller moeten zijn dan dezelfde iGPU in de Dimensity 9000 (dankzij hogere klokken).

De Dimensity 9000+ wordt geproduceerd door TSMC's state-of-the-art 4nm proces.
