Qualcomm SD 662

De Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 is een lagere middenklasse ARM-gebaseerde SoC die vooral wordt aangetroffen in Android-tablets en smartphones. Hij beschikt over 8 Kryo 260-kernen (aangepast ontwerp, 64-bit capabel) die verdeeld zijn in twee clusters. Een snelle cluster van vier kernen met maximaal 2 GHz (Kryo 260 Gold - Cortex-A73 derivaat) en een energiebesparende efficiëntie cluster met maximaal 1,8 GHz (Kryo 260 Silver - Cortex A53 derivaat). Beide clusters kunnen ook samen worden gebruikt.

Naast de 8 CPU cores integreert de SoC een mid range Adreno 610 GPU met een LPDDR4 geheugencontroller (dual-channel) en ondersteunt Wi-Fi (802.11ac + MIMO, max. 867 Mbps), Bluetooth 5, en LTE (X12 LTE modem met max. 600 Mbps download en 150 Mbps upload).

Energieverbruik

Dankzij het nieuwe 11 nm LPP-proces zou de energie-efficiëntie vrij goed moeten zijn.
