We hebben er bewust voor gekozen om de prijs-prestaties verhouding achterwege te laten, aangezien we €1299 voor het topmodel niet redelijk vinden. Hoe dan ook, de kaart is geschikt voor kopers die naar iets speciaals op zoek zijn. Een meerprijs van €500 ten opzichte van de Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Founder's Edition is onredelijk aangezien de winst in prestaties beperkt is. In de tussentijd zijn er veel GPU's met de GTX 1080 chip die meer rekenkracht bieden dankzij overklokken.
Diegenen die het aandurven om een Nvidia Titan X (Pascal) te kopen, doen zich er goed aan om ook waterkoeling aan te schaffen. De Titan X houdt het langer vol bij lagere temperaturen.
Als we puur naar de prestaties kijken, is dit de snelste GPU van dit moment. Alleen multi-GPU systemen met twee Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 chips kunnen de Titan X verslaan. Echter, de Titan X presteert beter wanneer er geen ondersteuning is voor SLI. Volgens de geruchten wordt de Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in de komende maanden uitgebracht, maar de GTX 1080 Ti zal slechts 3328 CUDA cores (96 ROPs/208 TMUs) bevatten. De frequentie zal enigszins verhoogd worden ten opzichte van de Titan X (1503 MHz, Boost 1623 MHz). De prijs zal eindigen tussen de huidige GTX 1080 en de Titan X Pascal.
Voor wie is deze grafische kaart bedoeld? Overduidelijk gamers. Maar diegenen die gamers op FHD of WQHD resolutie willen spelen, zouden eens moeten kijken naar de Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 of Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. De Titan X is vooral bedoeld om veeleisende spellen vloeiend op UHD resolutie te spelen.
