Intel Core i9-14900

De Intel Core i9-14900 is een High-End-Prozessor op basis van de Raptor-Lake-Architektur. De basis is 2,0 GHz en kan bij optimale instellingen tot 5,8 GHz bereiken. Die insgesamt 32 Threads unterteilen sich, wie beim Topmodell (Intel Core i9-14900K) weiterhin in 8 P- und 16 E-Kerne. Die 8 Performance-Kerne (P-Cores) bieden zudem Hyperthreading, waardoor in totaal 32 Threads gleichzeitig werden verarbeitet werden können. Voor niet-K-Modellen handelt es sich um einen sparsamen Prozessor. Voor arbeidsspeicher heeft u de optie om DDR4 of DDR5 te gebruiken.

Prestaties

Vergeleken met de Intel Core i9-14900K biedt de Core i9-14900 dezelfde fysische eigenschappen. Aufgrund der geringeren Leistungsaufnahme liefert der Intel Core i9-14900 echter etwas weniger Leistung. Der Einsatzzweck bezieht sich in erster Linie auf kompakte PCs, die nur begrenzte Kühlmöglichkeiten bieten.

Grafikeinheit

Wie auch der Intel Core i9-14900K bietet der Intel Core i9-14900 eine integrierte Grafikeinheit. Als basis dient opnieuw de Intel Iris Xe-architectuur. Rein leistungstechnisch hat sich bei der Intel UHD Graphics 770 aber nichts verändert.

Leistungsaufnahme

Der Intel Core i9-14900 ist mit einer TDP von 65 Watt angegeben, was dem PL1-Wert entspricht. In Boost kan de Leistung des Prozessors auf bis zu 219 Watt ansteigen (PL2). Voraussetzungen sind aber eine sehr gute Kühlung. Gegenüber dem Intel Core i9-13900 hat sich die angegebene Leistungsaufnahme nicht verändert.
