Intel T3100

De Intel Celeron T3100 of Celeron Dual-Core T3100 is een instap dual core CPU voor laptops. Hij is gebaseerd op de 45nm Penryn core maar heeft slechts 1MB level 2 cache, en diverse functies van de core zijn uitgeschakeld. Enkel de 64 bit mogelijkheid en de Execute Disable Bit kunnen gebruikt worden. Hardware virtualisatie, Intel Enhanced Speedstep en andere energie besparende functies zijn uitgeschakeld. Hierdoor loopt het stroomverbruik op, zelfs hoger dan van een vergelijkbare Core 2 Duo / Pentium processor.

De prestaties van de T3100 zijn enkel geschikt voor minder veeleisende taken zoals kantoor, internet, basis afbeelding bewerking en SD video bewerking. Voor het spelen van games zijn de prestaties van de T3100 onvoldoende.
