Despite the 15-inch display, it weighs just over two pounds, lighter than many smaller laptops, without compromising the large screen or performance. There's a wide variety of connectivity options and battery life is good, but aspects of the design do suffer given the tight build. The overall construction is a bit flimsy, an issue we experienced with the smaller version of this laptop, the LG gram 14$927.49 at Amazon. The 15-inch version has more positives than the gram 14, and a better price, but the lackluster chassis and keyboard quality still hold the system back.

Nothing like the Gram 15 has existed before, and I think it’s very uncertain whether an improved version of it will in the future. Machines like this are incredibly rare. This is as good as an extremely ultraportable gets for now—though if Samsung’s 15-inch Notebook 9 is an indication, perhaps there’s a slim chance of even better times ahead.

The only major knock against the Gram 14 is its poor speakers, something easily rectified with a good pair of headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. And if I'm nitpicking, the Gram 14 is a bit pricey and there is no place to store the included stylus. If those issues matter to you, the Lenovo ThinkPad C940 is the perfect alternative to the Gram. If not, then the Gram 14 2-in-1 is an excellent option.

Vooraf had ik bedacht dat ik zou letten op de volgende aandachtspunten: vervoer (van lokaal naar lokaal) en gebruiksgemak voor mijn lessen (zowel in de voorbereiding als in de les). Terugkijkend naar de twee weken waar ik de LG Gram heb gebruikt tijdens de lessen kan ik zeggen dat de LG Gram geslaagd is. Het vervoer van de laptop is echt top, door het gewicht en de dikte past de laptop goed in mijn tas. Ook zijn de vele aansluitingen een voordeel. Qua gebruiksgemak is het snelle opstarten, de lage geluidsproductie en de grootte van het beeldscherm echt voordelen. De grootste nadelen zijn het wiebelige scherm en de prijs.

Vooraf had ik bedacht dat ik zou letten op de volgende aandachtspunten: vervoer (van lokaal naar lokaal) en gebruiksgemak voor mijn lessen (zowel in de voorbereiding als in de les). Terugkijkend naar de twee weken waar ik de LG Gram heb gebruikt tijdens de lessen kan ik zeggen dat de LG Gram geslaagd is. Het vervoer van de laptop is echt top, door het gewicht en de dikte past de laptop goed in mijn tas. Ook zijn de vele aansluitingen een voordeel. Qua gebruiksgemak is het snelle opstarten, de lage geluidsproductie en de grootte van het beeldscherm echt voordelen. De grootste nadelen zijn het wiebelige scherm en de prijs.

Na mijn testperiode van twee weken heb ik geconcludeerd dat de LG Gram 16” een erg fijne laptop is die eigenlijk voor iedereen geschikt is. Het scherm is prachtig, doordat hij lekker fel is en een goede resolutie heeft (2560x1600 pixels). Helaas is het scherm niet meer dan 60Hz, omdat deze laptop niet voor gamers bedoeld is. Door de lagere verversingssnelheid is de batterijduur uiteraard wel langer. Ondanks dat de gewone verversingssnelheid van het scherm, voelt deze laptop wel enorm snel aan door een i7 chip van de laatste (11e) generatie en Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Haperingen zijn er nauwelijks, wat deze laptop erg fijn maakt voor dagelijks gebruik. De laptop heeft een optie tot face login, hiermee kan je binnen een seconde inloggen op je laptop en ook dit bespaart weer tijd. De LG Glance is een fijne toevoeging, waardoor ik sneller te werk kan gaan want tijd is geld. Bijvoorbeeld dat je muis op de plek blijft waar je voor het laatste hebt gekeken. Deze laptop beschikt ook over een AI Noise Cancelling, hierdoor kan ik mij volledig focussen op de Microsoft teams meeting met mijn collega’s. Daarnaast vind ik het geluid voor de dunne laptop heerlijk en voldoet deze volledig aan mijn verwachting. Het gewicht van deze LG laptop is top, eigenlijk heel licht voor deze grote laptop. Het design is erg mooi en gebruiksvriendelijkheid is perfect. De laptop werkt namelijk heel snel, hierdoor bespaar ik weer tijd. Bovendien is het toetsenbord gebruiksvriendelijk waardoor je snel kan je berichten kan typen. Ik werk op mijn laptop dus dan helpen deze dingen mij heel erg.

LG Gram 16-inch 2-in-1 review - Gewicht is niet langer een uniek verkoopargument | Notebookcheck
Uiterlijk is de nieuwe LG Gram 2-in-1 onveranderd, maar wat de interne onderdelen betreft biedt hij in ieder geval up-to-date hardware. In ons testapparaat laat de Intel Core i7 zien dat het in staat is om hoge prestaties te leveren, zelfs in een lichtgewicht vormfactor. In 2023 is LG er echter nog steeds niet in geslaagd om de andere zwakke punten van het apparaat weg te werken.

LG: LG Electronics Inc. is een dochteronderneming van LG Group. Het is een Zuid-Koreaans bedrijf en werd opgericht als Goldstar Co, Ltd in 1958. De groep biedt producten aan op het gebied van informatietechnologie, consumentenelektronica en mobiele communicatie, en huishoudelijke apparaten. LG Electronics is de op twee na grootste fabrikant van huishoudelijke apparaten ter wereld. Als fabrikant van notebooks werd LG pas in 2005 bekend bij een breder publiek op de Duitstalige markt. Na een paar jaar trok LG zich grotendeels terug uit de laptopsector. Het productassortiment omvat OLED, LED/LCD en plasma TV's, thuisbioscoopsystemen, Blu-ray spelers en audio- en videospelers.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
