Of dat ook het geval is met de Find X3 Lite, het kleinste model uit Oppo's nieuwe vlaggenschipfamilie, zullen we in onze review te weten komen.

Het scherm is top, de beide primaire camera’s zijn fantastisch, de microscoopcamera meer dan een gimmick en de snelle hardware zorgt voor krachtige prestaties. Toch zijn er enkele minpunten te noemen. Deze zijn waarschijnlijk niet voor iedereen van evenveel waarde, maar wel belangrijk om te benoemen. Het design is een kwestie van smaak, maar de voorganger wist hier beter te overtuigen. Daarnaast mist de periscoopcamera van de voorganger en daardoor zijn de zoommogelijkheden op dit toestel beperkter. Oppo ondersteunt het toestel sowieso met twee grote updates en twee jaar aan beveiligingsupdates, maar daarna blijft het wat vaag. Ten derde de prijs. Voor 1.149 euro krijg je een toptoestel in handen, maar je moet wel een flinke portemonnee hebben. Daar krijg je echter wel één van de beste smartphones van dit moment voor terug.

Oppo has clearly tried to give itself a differentiating factor with its microlens camera, but personally I wouldn’t see it swaying me one way or the other. It’s a really cool feature for sure, but at the end of the day the novelty does wear off and you find yourself using it less and less. At least, that was the case for me. Regardless, Oppo has made a highly impressive flagship with the Find X3 Pro and I think the company will have a lot to say in the flagship Android smartphone conversation going forward. Dare to launch a revised version of the contemporary flagship phone again half a year after its release, OPPO is confident in the OPPO Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition. In the author’s many days of experience, I also clearly felt the tyranny of this phone, and even once made the author think that the Find X3 Pro series will be a perfect model in the history of OPPO mobile phones. In terms of appearance, the exquisiteness of the hand is difficult to be displayed by static pictures; the warm leather back shell and the weight of the whole machine are convenient. If you don’t hold it in your hand and play with it carefully, it would be a waste of the excellent design of this phone. If you need a mobile phone with various qualities in the top echelon of domestic production, then OPPO Find X3 Pro Photographer Edition is undoubtedly your choice.

Oppo:

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

Qualcomm Adreno 620:

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

Qualcomm Adreno 660:

Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets die is geïntegreerd in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Qualcomm beweert dat het 35% sneller is dan de Adreno 650 in de Snapdragon 865 SoC en biedt een 20% betere energie-efficiëntie. Voor Android zou het een van de snelste grafische kaarten in 2021 moeten zijn.

Qualcomm Adreno 650:

Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets geïntegreerd in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-SoC. Qualcomm claimt dat de chip 25% sneller is dan de Adreno 640 in de Snapdragon 855-SoC en over 50% meer compute-units (ALU's) beschikt. Voor Android zou het een van de snelste grafische kaarten moeten zijn in 2020.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 765G:

Snelle mid-range ARM-SoC met 8 CPU Kryo 475-cores (één snelle ARM Cortex-A76 prime core tot 2,4 GHz, één A76 gold core tot 2,2 GHz en 6 kleine ARM Cortex-A55-cores tot 1,8 GHz). Als een van de eerste SoC's integreert het ook een 5G-modem (Snapdragon X52 tot 3,7 / 1,6 Mbps down- en upload, mmWave en Sub-6-ondersteuning). De processor is vervaardigd in het moderne en energiezuinige 7nm EUV-proces bij Samsung.

SD 865:

High-end SoC voor smartphones die gelanceerd werd op het einde van 2019 en gefabriceerd in 7nm bij TSMC (verbeterd N7P). Integreert een Prime Core gebaseerd op een ARM Cortex-A77-architectuur geklokt aan max. 2.84 GHz. Drie andere performante cores zijn eveneens gebaseerd op de A77, maar klokken slechts tot 2.42 GHz. Daarnaast zijn er nog vier energiezuinige cores geïntegreerd die gebaseerd zijn op de ARM Cortex-A55-architectuur en die klokken tot 1.8 GHz. Naast de processor-cores integreert de SoC een WiFi 6-modem (inclusief ondersteuning voor 60 GHz mmWave), een Hexagon 698 DSP (max. 15 TOPS) en een Spectra 480 ISP. De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller biedt nu ondersteuning voor sneller LPDDR5-geheugen tot 2750 MHz. LTE is niet meer inbegrepen in de SoC, maar de externe Snapdragon X55 5G-modem moet hiervoor gebruikt worden.

SD 870:

High-end SoC voor smartphones die medio 2020 is geïntroduceerd en is vervaardigd in 7 nm bij TSMC (verbeterde N7P). Integreert één Prime Core op basis van een ARM Cortex-A77-architectuur geklokt op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Drie andere prestatie-kernen zijn ook gebaseerd op de A77 maar klokken tot 2,42 GHz. Verder zijn er vier energiebesparende kernen geïntegreerd die zijn gebaseerd op de ARM Cortex-A55 architectuur en klokken tot 1,8 GHz.
