De Celeron IdeaPad 330 is iets meer dan enkel een verwisseling van processor wanneer vergeleken met de Ryzen IdeaPad 330. Geen USB Type-C, geen ventilator en een kleinere accu. Onze Celeron configuratie is ongeveer respectievelijk 70% en 80% trager qua CPU en GPU rekenkracht dan de Ryzen 5 configuratie.
De erg energiezuinige Intel CPU brengt een paar opmerkelijke voordelen boven de Ryzen configuratie. Als belangrijkste is dat het systeem volledig stil is en een batterijduur van bijna 2 uur langer heeft. Voor streamen, browsen en tekstverwerken voldoet de Intel IdeaPad, zij het net. We raden aan om te kiezen voor de 1080p beeldscherm optie, omdat het 758 paneel niet prettig is voor video's of werken.
Acceptabel stil surfen, tekstverwerken en 4K 30 fps video weergave. Er is veelvuldig bezuinigd, maar we hopen dat volgende iteraties toch het ontbreken van USB Type-C opladen, slechte 768p beeldscherm en een USB-poort aan de rechterzijde aanpakken.
