Als creatieveling die veel bezig is met het bewerken van foto’s en video’s, was ik erg benieuwd naar hoe de ASUS ProArt PX13 OLED zou presteren – en ik ben niet teleurgesteld. Tijdens mijn testperiode heb ik met gemak in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop én Premiere Pro gewerkt, en alles draait soepel. Renderen gaat vlot en previews zijn razendsnel geladen. De kleurweergave van het OLED-scherm is werkelijk fantastisch: zwart is écht zwart en kleuren spatten van het scherm. Dit helpt enorm bij kleurcorrectie en grading. Daarnaast is de laptop lekker compact en licht, waardoor je hem makkelijk meeneemt. Het touchscreen is prettig in gebruik, vooral met de meegeleverde stylus, waarmee je heel precies kunt werken. De bouwkwaliteit is hoog en de 2-in-1 functionaliteit voegt veel toe.

Super fijne laptop, helemaal niet zwaar en werkt ook super snel. ik heb er van alles op gedaan en alles ging top! foto bewerken, foto boeken maken, mail beantwoorden alles werkte na behoren. het scherm is alleen wel erg klein. het schijnt dat je er een pen bij krijgt maar die heb ik helaas niet gezien. het touche screen scherm werkt ook echt goed!

Na wekenlang zoeken vond ik eindelijk de PX13 laptop, die ik nu een maand gebruik. De bouwkwaliteit en prestaties zijn uitstekend, met een premium design en krachtige HX 370-processor. Echter, de batterijduur is beperkt, en de uitbreidbaarheid is bijna nul. De meegeleverde software is verrassend goed, maar de Dial en stylus werken matig. The ASUS ProArt PX13 is a great choice for creative professionals thanks to its efficient AI-powered CPU, sharp 3K OLED touchscreen, reliable GPU, and other useful features. It may not be the most powerful laptop on the market, but for a 2-in-1 laptop, it manages to offer reliable performance for tasks like video and photo editing, graphic design, digital drawing, and even a bit of gaming. The ASUS Dial integrated into the touchpad, as well as support for ASUS Pen 2.0, offers intuitive and convenient interactions with creative software, although they might take time to get used to. I really wish that laptop offered a display with a faster refresh rate , and maybe better battery life. But overall, the ASUS ProArt PX13 is a solid package.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is een grote Taiwanese fabrikant van computerhardware gevestigd in Taipei, opgericht in 1989. Onder de merknaam Asus produceert het bedrijf een breed scala aan producten, waaronder laptops, desktops, moederborden, grafische kaarten, monitoren, smartphones en netwerkapparatuur, complete systemen en pc-onderdelen voor eindgebruikers.

Onder de merknaam ROG (Republic of Gamers) produceert ASUS gaming laptops die bij gamers bekend staan om hun krachtige specificaties, speciale grafische kaarten, schermen met hoge verversingssnelheid en geavanceerde koelsystemen.

Naast gaming wordt een breed scala aan notebooks aangeboden voor verschillende behoeften en budgetten, van ultraslanke en lichtgewicht ultrabooks tot veelzijdige 2-in-1 convertibles en budgetvriendelijke opties. In 2023 had Asus wereldwijd een marktaandeel van 7% op de pc-markt.

Ryzen AI 9 365: Een relatief krachtige processor uit de Strix Point familie die in juni 2024 zijn debuut maakte. De Ryzen AI 9-serie APU wordt geleverd met 10 CPU-kernen, de 12 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 880M grafische adapter en de 50 TOPS XDNA 2 neurale engine. Er is nog steeds geen PCIe 5 ondersteuning en 6 van de CPU-kernen zijn langzamer dan de andere 4.

Ryzen AI Max+ 395: Een superkrachtige processor uit de Strix Halo-familie die in januari 2025 zijn debuut maakte. De Ryzen AI Max+ APU wordt geleverd met 16 Zen 5 CPU-kernen, de 40 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 8060S grafische adapter en de 50 TOPS XDNA 2 neurale engine. Er is nog steeds geen PCIe 5 ondersteuning.
