They launch a lot later than the main S-series models, so while they are a cheaper option, the main S-series phones have usually already been reduced to narrow the gap. The 128GB base model is $699/£699 and the 256GB is $799/£799. Compared to last year, that's a $50 price hike on the 128GB model, and a $100 increase for the 256GB.

I was invited for an early hands-on with the new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE - the Fan Edition, and the more affordable entry into the S26 lineup. This year, Samsung is bringing across some neat flagship features, particularly in camera and AI, while retaining strong fundamentals. And from my brief time with it so far, the S26 FE is looking pretty compelling!

Samsung Xclipse 950: Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets, geïntegreerd in de Samsung Exynos 2500 SoC. Gebaseerd op de AMD RDNA-architectuur, inclusief raytracing-ondersteuning.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
