Responstijd Scherm

De responstijden van het scherm tonen hoe snel het scherm in staat is om van één kleur naar de andere te veranderen. Trage responstijden kunnen aanleiding geven tot 'nabeelden' rond bewegende objecten of het scherm wazig maken (blur). Vooral spelers van snelle 3D-games hebben baat bij een scherm met snelle responstijden.

Het scherm vertoonde prima responstijden in onze tests maar is misschien wat te traag voor competitieve games.
Ter vergelijking: alle testtoestellen variëren van 0.8 (minimum) tot 240 (maximum) ms. » 22 % van alle toestellen zijn beter.
Dit betekent dat de gemeten responstijd beter is dan het gemiddelde (24.9 ms) van alle geteste toestellen.

Het scherm vertoonde trage responstijden in onze tests en is misschien te traag voor games.
Ter vergelijking: alle testtoestellen variëren van 0.9 (minimum) tot 636 (maximum) ms. » 25 % van alle toestellen zijn beter.
Dit betekent dat de gemeten responstijd beter is dan het gemiddelde (39.7 ms) van alle geteste toestellen.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

Om de schermhelderheid te verlagen schakelen sommige laptops het backlight erg snel aan en uit. Dit gebeurt aan een dergelijk hoge frequentie dat het niet zichtbaar is voor het menselijk oog. Als de frequentie te laag is kunnen personen met gevoelige ogen geïrriteerd geraken, hoofdpijn krijgen en zelfs flickering waarnemen.
Screen flickering / PWM waargenomen 26000 Hz ≤ 50 % helderheid instelling

Het backlight van het scherm flikkert aan 26000 Hz (hoogstwaarschijnlijk met PWM - Pulse-Width Modulation) aan een helderheid van 50 % en lager. Boven deze helderheid zou er geen flickering / PWM mogen optreden.

De frequentie van 26000 Hz is redelijk hoog en de meeste mensen die gevoelig zijn aan flickering zouden dit dus niet mogen waarnemen of geïrriteerde ogen krijgen.

Ter vergelijking: 51 % van alle geteste toestellen maakten geen gebruik van PWM om de schermhelderheid te verlagen. Als het wel werd gebruikt, werd een gemiddelde van 9354 (minimum: 43 - maximum: 142900) Hz waargenomen.

De HP ProBook x360 440 G1 ziet er op het eerste gezicht uit als een gewone zakelijke notebook. Het apparaat heeft echter een scharnier van 360 graden dat de veelzijdigheid verbeterd en een lange batterijlevensduur. Bovendien presteert ons testapparaat solide, en de Core i5-8250U-processor past uitstekend bij het concept van het apparaat als een mobiele maar toch krachtige zakelijke notebook. We raden af ​​om het apparaat uit te rusten met een oudere 7e generatie Intel Core-processor, omdat de dat model niet kan tippen aan de prestaties van de nieuwere quad-core tegenhangers van de 8e generatie. We zouden het apparaat opnieuw moeten testen met een Intel Core i7-8550U-processor om te bepalen of het apparaat de potentiële prestatieverhoging van de chip ten opzichte van de Core i5-8250U zou kunnen realiseren. De x360 440 G1 heeft ook een indrukwekkend kleuraccuraat touchscreen en actieve penondersteuning. Het komt zelden voor dat een zakelijk apparaat tegen deze prijs zo'n goede kleurnauwkeurigheid heeft; de x360 440 G1 is kleuraccuraat genoeg voor semi-professionele beeld- en videobewerking.

De HP ProBook x360 440 G1 is een betaalbare convertible met goede verbindingsmogelijkhden, een lange batterijlevensduur en een indrukwekkend kleuraccuraat beeldscherm.

Bovendien heeft HP een groot aantal hardware- en softwarebeveiligingsfuncties opgenomen die voor veel bedrijven geschikt zijn.

De x360 440 G1 heeft een stijlvolle en goed geconstrueerde behuizing, maar niet in dezelfde mate als zijn EliteBook concurrenten. Hoe dan ook, de behuizing is stevig, hoewel de scharnieren iets zwaarder moeten zijn.
