EN→NL Archive.org versionTo be honest, the Vostro 3568 doesn’t go too far from the previously reviewed Vostro 3559, which was kind of a disappointment. It inherits the poor build quality, spongy keyboard and underpowered GPU. We honestly think that if Dell decided to just go with the integrated graphics (Intel HD Graphics 620) on the Core i5-7200U, which is the main key selling point of the product anyway, it would have been a lot better. This would have save power and it would have taken a few bucks off the price of the machine. You can clearly see from the benchmarks that the Intel HD Graphics 620 is, in some cases if not all, more powerful than the Radeon R5 M420X.

EN→NL Archive.org versionThe Dell Vostro 15 7580 is a multi-purpose device. First of all, it’s a good office computer – it has a comfortable keyboard and lots of connectivity options. Second, it can be used as some sort of a mobile workstation – with up to a six-core Core i7-8750H (that behaves ok), you can’t get much better in a notebook (with the exception for the Core i9 or Ryzen 7 desktop CPUs). Third, with up a GTX 1060 Max-Q with 6 GB of GDDR5, the Vostro 15 7580 becomes a pretty capable gaming notebook.

Dell: Dell is een Amerikaanse fabrikant (gevestigd in Texas) van computerhardware, opgericht in 1984 en is een van de grootste internationale fabrikanten, zowel qua marktaandeel als qua notebookmodellen. De productlijn omvat desktops, notebooks, opslagsystemen, monitors, servers, printers, consumentenelektronica en randapparatuur. Dell biedt laptops die geschikt zijn voor verschillende toepassingen, zoals zakelijke laptops, gaming laptops, ultra portables en werkstations. De zakelijke laptops uit de Latitude en Precision series van Dell zijn een optie voor professionele gebruikers en bedrijven.
In 2023 had Dell een marktaandeel van ongeveer 17% in de wereldwijde verkoop van pc's en stond daarmee op de derde plaats, na Lenovo en HP.
Voor gameliefhebbers is er Dell's Alienware merk voor gaming notebooks.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M: Verschillende modellen gebaseerd op verschillende chips uit de Fermi-generatie. De GT 630M is beschikbaar in GF108/GF106/GF166-varianten, maar allen zijn infeite hernoemde GeForce GT 540M of 555M GPU's. Er bestaat ook een GF117 variant, gebouwd op een 28nm proces voor gereduceerd stroomverbruik.
Intel HD Graphics 620:
Geïntegreerde GPU (GT2) te vinden op sommige Kaby-Lake CPU modellen (ULV 15 W serie).
Intel HD Graphics 520:
Geïntegreerde GPU (GT2) met 24 EU's die aangetroffen wordt in sommige Skylake-CPU's (15-Watt ULV-versies).
NVIDIA GeForce 940MX:
Mid-range grafische kaart voor laptops gebaseerd op de Maxwell-architectuur. In vergelijking met de oudere 940M biedt de MX nu ook ondersteuning voor GDDR5 grafisch geheugen en wellicht iets hogere kloksnelheden.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile:
Deze grafische kaarten voor notebooks zijn niet bruikbaar voor games. Als ze al games kunnen draaien, dan doen ze dat met grafische afwijkingen en heel lage framesnelheid. Voor gamers zijn deze chips ongeschikt! Kantoor en internet taken zijn, daarentegen, geen probleem voor deze GPUs.

Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Max-Q:
Efficiënte high-end grafische kaart voor dunnen lichte laptops gebaseerd op dezelfde GP106-chip als de normale GTX 1060 voor laptops maar met lagere kloksnelheden. Biedt ongeveer 15% lagere prestaties maar ook een veel lager energieverbruik.
De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).

3210M: Snelle Ivy-Bridge dual-core, met HD 4000 Graphics en een kloksnelheid van 2.5 - 3.1 GHz
Intel Kaby Lake:

Kaby Lake-gebaseerd SoC met twee CPU-core geklokt aan 2.7 - 3.5 GHz en Hyper Threading en gefabriceerd aan de hand van een verbeterd 14nm-proces.
Intel Core i3:
Intel Coffee Lake:
i5-8300H:
Coffee-Lake-gebaseerde processor voor grote en zware laptops. Integreert zes processor-cores geklokt aan 2.3 - 4. GHz (3.9 GHz met 4 cores) met ondersteuning voor HyperThreading. Gefabricreerd in een verbeterd 14nm-proces (14nm++).
Intel Kaby Lake Refresh:
i5-8250U:
Energiezuinige quad-core-processor gebaseerd op de Kaby Lake-refresh. De vier cores zijn geklokt aan 1.6 - 3.4 GHz (Turbo Boost) en ondersteunen HyperThreading. De geïntegreerde GPU is geklokt aan 300 - 1100 MHz. Het SoC is gefabriceerd in een 14nm+ FinFET-proces.

1.98 kg:
Gewoonlijk hebben subnotebooks, ultrabooks en redelijk lichte laptops met een 12-16 inch schermdiagonaal dit gewicht.
2.83 kg:
Dit gewicht is representatief voor laptops met een 15 inch schermdiagonaal.
79.25%: Dit cijfer is niet echt overtuigend. Het moet in acht worden genomen dat er bijna geen laptops zijn die een score onder de 60% hebben. Dit notebook is beneden gemiddeld beoordeeld, en is niet aanbevolen te kopen.
