In veel applicaties gebruik je deze knop om iets te annuleren en dat bracht aardig wat irritatie met zich mee als de Touch Bar weer even uit stond. You can complement Apple’s services with Google and Microsoft’s, but at the end of the day, you need a foot in the door with an iPhone to really enjoy what’s here. If you just love the design, smooth performance, guaranteed updates, and overall cohesion that Apple offers, I totally get it, and it’s still a great laptop. It’s a very slick machine, but it’s arguably not worth the asking price.

De 2020-editie van de MacBook Pro heeft een beter toetsenbord gekregen dan zijn voorganger en daarmee hebben we vrijwel alle wijzigingen ten opzichte van het vorige model gehad. De MacBook Pro zit echter goed in elkaar en heeft een stevige behuizing, een goed scherm en een accuduur van meer dan twaalf uur tijdens webbrowsen. De twee Thunderbolt-aansluitingen zijn niet echt praktisch en we missen een kaartlezer. Ondanks de enigszins verouderde processor zijn de prestaties prima en de koeling blijkt zodanig dat er weinig throttling optreedt. Gezien de hardware die de MacBook biedt, is de prijs hoog en dat geldt ook voor de prijzen van upgrades.
