The Galaxy Z Fold 7, on the other hand, is a much more fleshed-out device that finally doesn't lag behind the competition. In fact, it's one of the nicer foldables you can get, especially so if great software is a priority.

The Huawei Mate XT was the first tri-foldable phone, and in many ways, it's a better device than the TriFold. In many others, it's not. Samsung's appetite will come with eating, and we have no doubt that the next Samsung triple-folding phone will be even better than this one. Which one should you get? At the moment, either one of these feels like a proof of concept rather than a device you should absolutely get. A regular book-style foldable is a more mature product, and still, a regular phone + a tablet still makes a lot of financial sense.

Qualcomm Adreno 830: Geïntegreerde grafische eenheid in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC voor smartphones met drie schijfjes van elk 1,1 GHz. Geïntegreerde 12 MB gedeelde cache voor de drie schijfjes. Volgens Qualcomm 40% sneller dan de vorige generatie (Adreno 750).

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 8 Elite f. Galaxy: High-end SoC (System on a Chip) voor smartphones die eind 2024 werd gepresenteerd. Het bevat twee snelle Oryon Gen 2 Prime kernen tot 4,47 GHz en 6 kleinere Oryon Gen 2 Performance kernen tot 3,53 GHz. Vergeleken met de normale Snapdragon 8 Elite biedt de "voor Galaxy" variant iets hogere boost kloksnelheden.
