EN→NL Archive.org versionIf you don't mind the lack of digital video out and if you don't require battery life longer than around four hours, Lenovo's ThinkPad X100e is an excellent choice, thanks to its advanced OS, superb build quality, decent specifications and class-leading usability – all while remaining easy on the wallet. However, even at under £330 that might just be one if too many, especially with some compelling alternatives available for only a little more.

EN→NL Archive.org versionAt the beginning of 2010, we were introduced to the ThinkPad x100e, an 11.6-inch Netbook-size ultraportable that offered a ThinkPad-like computing experience packed into a tiny shell.
The dual-core version of the ThinkPad x100e is a much better bet than the original single-core version. Battery life is still an issue, but it's a nice-to-the-touch 11.6-inch business Netbook.

ATI Radeon HD 3200: Onboard (gedeeld geheugen) grafische chip (op RS780M chipset) gebaseerd op de HD 2400 chip. Beschikt ook over de UVD video engine om HD video’s te decoderen. Voor de rest ondersteunt de kaast Hybrid CrossfireX (voor versnelling) en PowerXpress (om energie te besparen) in combinatie met een dedicated grafische kaart (van de HD 3000 serie).
Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.
