It's very slim and light, avoiding using one of those annoyingly shallow keyboards, which makes day-to-day use ideal. Its 360-degree hinge design is far subtler than most too, in particular the bling watchband hinge of the Lenovo Yoga.

There’s a lot to like about this and I’m really impressed with the specs, performance and the looks of the XPS 13-inch 2 in 1. The review unit is the top of the line i7 with 16GB of RAM and the larger SSD so unsurprisingly there wasn’t any performance issues. For the average user though, the i5 with 8GB is going to fulfil your needs with grunt to spare and save you a significant chunk of coin in the process.

It's so close that I'm going to put it this way: I have a longstanding preference for light laptops. The lighter the better (as long as the functionality isn't compromised too much). In this respect, I favor the MacBook. As I said, there's a big difference between 2.7 pounds (XPS) and 2 pounds (MacBook). That said, the XPS' faster performance, touch display, 360-degree hinge, carbon fiber palm rest, fingerprint scanner, and MicroSD card reader may appeal more to certain consumers and businesses.

Using the XPS 13 2-in-1 as a tablet is a bit odd at first, though. The slate is pretty wide in portrait mode, which makes holding it feel a bit uncomfortable when you’re not resting it on your lap or a table. I did, however, like flipping the display over and using the keyboard as a stand to watch movies while making dinner.

De meeste niet-veeleisende huidige games kunnen vloeiend draaien. Wees voorbereid op verminderde grafische weergave door lage detailinstellingen en lage resoluties. Toch verschaffen deze kaarten voldoende prestatie voor kantoor taken en video bekijken (niet voor HD videos).
