The long battery life and the sturdy construction ensure you will be able to use it continuously, no matter the condition you’re in. Still, I do wish OPPO fitted a more powerful chipset and cameras to make it a better all-around phone. For its price, it’s possibly one of the toughest in the price segment, featuring IP69 and MIL-STD-810H compliance, and a massive 7000mAh battery (or 6500mAh depending on the region). But my first impression was that there's barely a camera bump, which means it lies almost perfectly flat on the desk, with no slipping or sliding. The phone is also pretty handy to hold and use, thanks to the now-standard flat sides and flat screen. Bezels are reasonably slim for a mid-range model (S$399), and the 6.5-inch AMOLED screen is decently bright. But every affordable phone has to make compromises. And Oppo has opted for a middling processor that is just about the slowest we have tested in a 2025 smartphone. Now, we haven't reviewed budget phones so far, but the Oppo A6 Pro falls behind even other mid-range models in this S$400 price range, like the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The cameras (or should I say camera) are also not quite up to par with the competition.

Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.
ARM Mali-G57 MP2:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart uit het middensegment met 2 clusters. Gebaseerd op de Valhall architectuur.

Mediatek Dimensity 6000:
Dimensity 6300: De CPU heeft in totaal acht kernen, die verdeeld zijn over twee clusters. De ene heeft twee ARM Cortex-A76 prestatie-kernen met elk tot 2,4 GHz, terwijl de andere zes ARM Cortex-A55 energiebesparende kernen heeft met elk tot 2,0 GHz. LPDDR4x RAM met 2.133 MHz kan worden gebruikt als RAM en UFS 2.2 wordt ondersteund als intern geheugen. De Dimensity 6300 lijkt erg op de oude Dimensity 6080.
Mediatek Mediatek Helio G:
Helio G100: ARM-gebaseerde octa-core SoC (2x Cortex-A76, 6x Cortex-A55) met 64-bits ondersteuning en een kloksnelheid tot 2,2 GHz voor smartphones en tablets. Integreert een Cat-13 4G LTE-modem. In tegenstelling tot de MediaTek Helio G96, is de G99 vervaardigd met behulp van het modernere 6nm proces en heeft een hogere kloksnelheid.
