The Medion Akoya P6635 is the perfect product for the budget conscious. Affordable, with a few sacrifices to keep price down, but all around excellent value for money. For graphic designers or passionate PC gamers, this probably isn't the machine for you. But for anyone on a budget looking for a reliable machine with the latest components, this is an excellent value proposition at AUD$799.

Medion's latest Akoya laptop will be sold directly by the company and it's a laptop that packs plenty of power at a low price; it can be used for gaming in addition to regular office work and Web browsing. Its hard drive, screen and touchpad could be better, but considering what you get overall for $899, it's hard to complain too much. You'll need to email Medion directly if you want to purchase this unit, but Medion says stocks are strictly limited.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M: Verschillende modellen gebaseerd op verschillende chips uit de Fermi-generatie. De GT 630M is beschikbaar in GF108/GF106/GF166-varianten, maar allen zijn infeite hernoemde GeForce GT 540M of 555M GPU's. Er bestaat ook een GF117 variant, gebouwd op een 28nm proces voor gereduceerd stroomverbruik.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

3610QM: Een Ivy Bridge quad-core processor met een kloksnelheid van 2.3 GHz met Turbo Boost ondersteuning tot 3.3 GHz. Heeft een geïntegreerde 4000 GPU die op 650-1100 MHz draait op een dual-channel DDR3 geheugencontroller.
