EN→NLOverall, we didn't have too many complaints about using the laptop as a working device. The Yoga 7i is an attractive 2-in-1 laptop with good performance for work and nothing more, but consumers may think twice about getting one due to the starting price of RM5939. Note - that's just the starting price for the model that we reviewed. If this is too expensive for you, Lenovo also offers another variant starting from RM4809, featuring a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD storage, but without a stylus. Apart from Lenovo, there are other 2-in-1 laptops such as the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 9315 at RM5999 or the Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 7420 at RM3399. The choice is yours.

Ik zag dat er nog geen review was van deze laptop, dus ik zal hier in het kort mijn bevindingen melden. Notebookcheck heeft een uitgebreidere review, dus die kan je bekijken voor meer details. Mijn referentie kader is een bijna 10 jaar oude Asus N550, dus praktisch elke halve baksteen is een upgrade :). Zonder gekheid, mijn oude Asus deed het nog wel, maar begon wat mankjes te worden. Ik heb de fans al twee keer vervangen, de accu laat te wensen over en hij is toch ook wel onhandig groot wanneer je ff op de bank wil internetten/netflixen (ik heb geen tv). Daarnaast speel ik wat piano, en vind ik het wel fijn om van een groot scherm te kunnen lezen op het moment dat ik er wat akkoorden/bladmuziek bijpak. Met mijn oude set-up ziet dit er echt niet uit :p. Gamen doe ik niet echt, maar ik vind het af en toe wel wat leuk om iets uit te proberen. Daarnaast wil ik het liefst weer lang met de laptop doen, dus verouderde graphics (vega, intel) liever niet! Gezien mijn eisen vond ik een dGPU ook niet nodig. Daarnaast design ik vaak software, dus een enigzins capabele CPU was ook een eis.

EN→NLAs it turns out, waiting for the Ryzen 6000U series was worth it. The Yoga 7 (14″, 2022) shows not only a great performance from its CPU but also from its integrated graphics card. And more than 12 hours of battery life is a great result, considering the fact that our unit was equipped with the 2.8K OLED panel.

EN→NLAll in all, the Lenovo Yoga 7 14IRL8 is a really solid machine for those looking for a 2-in-1 laptop that has an amazing screen, great performance, and good battery life – all while having a touchscreen and an included stylus. While I would have loved another USB-A port and a more “metal-feeling” design, these are mere nitpicks to what’s overall a really good convertible package.

Its fantastic short-to-medium load performance is going to make your experience super snappy. At the same time, you get an M.2 PCIe x4 Gen 4 SSD, which also contributes to that. What is a bit unfortunate, is that there is no memory expandability. This is nothing different from what its competitors are doing in the same class, though. However, the 16GB maximum LPDDR5 RAM seems a bit low for some occasions. This is especially true since the laptop is capable enough to be used for professional work. Lenovo Yoga 7i (14″, 2023)’s touchscreen OLED panel has comfortable viewing angles, quick pixel response times, and an infinite contrast ratio, which is a result of the True black colors.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" uit de Engelse legende, novo (Latijn voor nieuw) werd in 1984 opgericht als Chinees handelsbedrijf in computers. In 2004 was het bedrijf de grootste laptopfabrikant in China en, na de overname van IBM's pc-divisie in 2005, de op drie na grootste ter wereld. Naast desktops en notebooks produceert het bedrijf monitoren, projectors, servers, enz. en is het gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling, productie en marketing van consumentenelektronica, pc's, software, bedrijfsoplossingen en aanverwante diensten.
In 2016 stond het bedrijf op de eerste plaats in de wereld wat betreft computerverkopen. Dit was in 2023 nog steeds het geval, met een wereldwijd marktaandeel van ongeveer 23%. Belangrijke productlijnen zijn Thinkpad, Legion en Ideapad.
In 2011 verwierf het een meerderheidsbelang in Medion AG, een Europese fabrikant van computerhardware. In 2014 werd Motorola Mobility gekocht, wat Lenovo een boost gaf op de smartphonemarkt.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
AMD Vega 8:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart van de Ryzen-APU's gebaseerd op de Vega-architectuur met 8 CU's (= 512 shaders) en een kloksnelheid tot 1750 MHz.
AMD Radeon 680M:

Intel Alder Lake-P:
i7-1260P:
Een CPU uit de Alder Lake familie voor het hogere middensegment, met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. Deze 28 W SoC is ontworpen voor gebruik in ultralichte laptops. De Core i7-1260P's prestatie-kernen zijn uitgerust met Hyper-Threading, voor een totaal van 16 threads. Deze 12e generatie CPU draait op 1,5 GHz tot 4,7 GHz en ondersteunt vPro-functies van het "Essentials"-niveau. Tot slot heeft de Core i7-1260P een ingebouwde 96 EU Iris Xe GPU, in tegenstelling tot bepaalde 11e generatie Tiger Lake-UP3-onderdelen.
AMD Cezanne (Zen 3, Ryzen 5000):
R7 5800U:
Mobiele Octa-Core APU met Zen 3 cores geklokt op 1,9 GHz tot 4,4 GHz en een Vega iGPU met 8 CU's geklokt op maximaal 2000 MHz.
AMD Rembrandt (Zen 3+):
R7 6800U:
Mobiele Octa-Core APU met Zen 3 cores geklokt op 2,7 tot 4,7 GHz en een RDNA2 grafische kaart met 12 CU's geklokt op maximaal 2200 MHz. De TDP wordt gespecificeerd op 15 - 28 Watt.
Intel Raptor Lake-P:
i7-1360P: Op Raptor Lake-P gebaseerde CPU met een TDP van 28 Watt. Biedt 4 prestatiekernen en 8 efficiëntiekernen en dus 16 threads.

Dit gewicht is typisch voor erg grote tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks en convertibles met een 11-13 inch schermdiagonaal.
