EN→NLAs a conclusion from our test, we can say a couple of things. The ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 is a very likable little device. However, its cooling is not good enough to sustain high frequencies for more than 30 seconds. This makes the laptop really appropriate for day-to-day business tasks and one-by-one photo editing. This leads us to the second unfortunate aspect of it – memory. It is soldered to the motherboard, which prevents you from ever being able to upgrade it. On the bright side, you can choose between 8, 16, and 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM upon purchase. On the other hand, you may not even need vodka to stay warm. Its keyboard reaches up to 44°C when you work the hardware hard, so you can put your hands (or feet) on it. Privacy-wise, there are a couple of interesting features. You get an optional IR face recognition scanner and a fingerprint reader. Its battery life is not that good – 10 hours of Web browsing, or 7 hours and 30 minutes of video playback. It might not last you through an entire workday, especially if you put some strain on it. Last but not least, the port selection of this premium 13-incher is good. While it lacks an SD card reader, it features two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a Smart card reader, and even two full-sized USBs. The target group for this device is not very wide. However, if you are willing to get a device of this size and quality, the ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 will not disappoint you. And if you want to get a more modern look – the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 is still an option.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-1260P:
Een CPU uit de Alder Lake familie voor het hogere middensegment, met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. Deze 28 W SoC is ontworpen voor gebruik in ultralichte laptops. De Core i7-1260P's prestatie-kernen zijn uitgerust met Hyper-Threading, voor een totaal van 16 threads. Deze 12e generatie CPU draait op 1,5 GHz tot 4,7 GHz en ondersteunt vPro-functies van het "Essentials"-niveau. Tot slot heeft de Core i7-1260P een ingebouwde 96 EU Iris Xe GPU, in tegenstelling tot bepaalde 11e generatie Tiger Lake-UP3-onderdelen.
