EN→NL Archive.org versionIf you don’t mind the somewhat larger dimensions and increased weight, Lenovo once again made a workstation that’s a dream come true for a business-oriented user who needs a powerful and specific hardware. There are few details that some users won’t like, but there are so many pros that will impress everyone and they make it a first pick for users that know to appreciate what ThinkPad is and what it represents for a long time.

Build quality is more than adequate, but more bendy than we remember of ThinkPad workhorses. The out-of-the-box software experience is quite laughable but still par for the course for sponsored PCs. Our system did not impress with great responsiveness so if you’re spending this much we’d advise solid-state drive for storage. Battery life was poor, given the huge battery.

NVIDIA Quadro K1000M: Mid-range workstation grafische kaart voor 15-inch laptops gebaseerd op de GK107 Kepler chip.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

3720QM: Een Ivy Bridge quad-core processor met een kloksnelheid van 2.6 GHz met Turbo Boost ondersteuning tot 3.6 GHz. Heeft een geïntegreerde 4000 GPU die draait op 650-1250 MHz en een dual-channel DDR3 geheugencontroller.
