EN→NLThe Lenovo ThinkPad Z16 Gen 2 incredibly solid metal machine with an eye-catching design and a modern but slightly limited port selection. The haptic touchpad is amazing while we were expecting a bit better keyboard. The Z16 Gen 2 impresses with a 15.8 mm profile. That’s great for portability since the weight isn’t hefty, especially with the top-end OLED screen. On the flip side, to achieve such compactness, the manufacturer has to make some sacrifices like soldered memory and Wi-Fi card alongside limiting the storage expansion to just one M.2 slot. The optional OLED touchscreen (ATNA60YV04-0 (LEN4146)) is a gem. It has a high resolution of 3840×2400 and it fully covers both sRGB and DCI-P3 gamuts.

AMD Radeon RX 6550M:
Mobiele grafische kaart op instapniveau gebaseerd op de RDNA 2-architectuur. Biedt 1024 cores (16 CU's) bij een TDP van 50 -80 Watt, maar slechts een 64-bits geheugeninterface.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

R7 PRO 7840HS: High-end mobiele 8-core processor gebaseerd op de Zen 4 architectuur. De CPU-kernen klokken tot 5,1 GHz en voeren 16 threads tegelijk uit. Integreert een XDNA Ai-Engine. De TDP is instelbaar tussen 35 en 54 Watt.
