The Lenovo Legion Y70 is a new flagship smartphone, while the phone launched in August 2022, and cost around $562 (Rs 44,990 in India) Approx. As for the primary specs, you will receive a 6.67-inches OLED panel that renders a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR 10+, with 1000 nits brightness rating. A tiny dot notch 16MP selfie camera while the rear board features a triple camera setup including a 50MP primary, 13MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth lens. With this setup, you will attain immersive 8k video recording with gyro-EIS support. As for the performance aspect, the phone renders the 4nm Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that will provide impressively processing power, while the visual software arrives with Adreno 730 GPU. Besides this, the handset provides 8GB/12GB/16GB of RAM support with 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage without secondary storage support. For security, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Legion Y70 has a Li-Po 5100 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support and is available in 3 color variants- Black, Silver, and Red.

Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets die geïntegreerd is in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm claimt dat deze 30% sneller is dan de Adreno 660 in de Snapdragon 888 SoC. Voor Android zou het eind 2021 een van de snelste grafische kaarten moeten zijn.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 8+ Gen 1:

High-end SoC voor smartphones die eind 2021 werd geïntroduceerd en geproduceerd werd in 4 nm bij TSMC. Integreert één "Prime Core" op basis van een ARM Cortex-X2-architectuur geklokt op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Drie andere prestatiekernen zijn gebaseerd op de A710 maar klokken tot 2,5 GHz. Verder zijn er vier energiebesparende kernen geïntegreerd die zijn gebaseerd op de ARM Cortex-A510 architectuur en klokken tot 1,8 GHz. Naast de processorkernen integreert de SoC een WiFi 6e modem, een Hexagon DSP (voor AI-versnelling) en een Spectra ISP. De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller ondersteunt snel LPDDR5-geheugen met maximaal 3.200 MHz. 5G is nu opgenomen in de chip met de Snapdragon X65-modem. Vergeleken met de niet-plus versie biedt de 8+ Gen 1 een 200 MHz hoger geklokte Prime Core en een 10% hoger geklokte GPU. Bovendien wordt hij nu geproduceerd bij TSMC en niet meer bij Samsung.

Lenovo: Lenovo ("Le" uit de Engelse legende, novo (Latijn voor nieuw) werd in 1984 opgericht als Chinees handelsbedrijf in computers. In 2004 was het bedrijf de grootste laptopfabrikant in China en, na de overname van IBM's pc-divisie in 2005, de op drie na grootste ter wereld. In 2016 stond het bedrijf op de eerste plaats in de wereld wat betreft computerverkopen. Dit was in 2023 nog steeds het geval, met een wereldwijd marktaandeel van ongeveer 23%. Belangrijke productlijnen zijn Thinkpad, Legion en Ideapad.

In 2011 verwierf het een meerderheidsbelang in Medion AG, een Europese fabrikant van computerhardware. In 2014 werd Motorola Mobility gekocht, wat Lenovo een boost gaf op de smartphonemarkt.
