The Huawei Mate 50 smartphone arrives with flagship-level specs at $713 (Rs 57,390 in India) approx, while the phone is expected to release in September 2022. The primary specs include the 6.7-inches OLED panel that renders a 90Hz refresh rate. In terms of the storage options, you can pick up 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage with 8GB RAM support. The phone is powered by a 4nm – Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ 4G Gen 1 chipset that can reach up to a 1×3.19GHz clocking speed. Besides this, the device runs on EMUI 13 OS for the International variant and HarmonyOS 3.0 for the China variant. As for the camera section, you will get a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 12MP periscope telephoto, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. On the front side, you get a 13MP ultrawide selfie camera for better photography. As for the video recording, you can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second from both side cameras. Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets die geïntegreerd is in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm claimt dat deze 30% sneller is dan de Adreno 660 in de Snapdragon 888 SoC. Voor Android zou het eind 2021 een van de snelste grafische kaarten moeten zijn.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 8+ Gen 1:

High-end SoC voor smartphones die eind 2021 werd geïntroduceerd en geproduceerd werd in 4 nm bij TSMC. Integreert één "Prime Core" op basis van een ARM Cortex-X2-architectuur geklokt op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Drie andere prestatiekernen zijn gebaseerd op de A710 maar klokken tot 2,5 GHz. Verder zijn er vier energiebesparende kernen geïntegreerd die zijn gebaseerd op de ARM Cortex-A510 architectuur en klokken tot 1,8 GHz. Naast de processorkernen integreert de SoC een WiFi 6e modem, een Hexagon DSP (voor AI-versnelling) en een Spectra ISP. De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller ondersteunt snel LPDDR5-geheugen met maximaal 3.200 MHz. 5G is nu opgenomen in de chip met de Snapdragon X65-modem. Vergeleken met de niet-plus versie biedt de 8+ Gen 1 een 200 MHz hoger geklokte Prime Core en een 10% hoger geklokte GPU. Bovendien wordt hij nu geproduceerd bij TSMC en niet meer bij Samsung.
