In February 2023, the Oneplus Ace 2 smartphone was released for roughly $412 (Rs 34,190 in India) approx price tag. The OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone offers Black and Glacier Blue color variants. Moving to the front display, the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone comes with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display which grants an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR 10+ contrast with 1300 nits brightness support to make impressive outdoor usage. The device is also protected by Asahi glass protection. The performance end is managed by the 4nm Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset that can easily go up to 1×3.19 GHz cloaking speed. With this setup, you can expect a fluid UI experience with the latest Android 13-based ColorOS 13. As for the storage options, the Ace 2 smartphone brings 256GB to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal space that will club alongside the 12GB to 16GB RAM support. Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Grafische chip voor smartphones en tablets die geïntegreerd is in de Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm claimt dat deze 30% sneller is dan de Adreno 660 in de Snapdragon 888 SoC. Voor Android zou het eind 2021 een van de snelste grafische kaarten moeten zijn.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

SD 8+ Gen 1:

High-end SoC voor smartphones die eind 2021 werd geïntroduceerd en geproduceerd werd in 4 nm bij TSMC. Integreert één "Prime Core" op basis van een ARM Cortex-X2-architectuur geklokt op maximaal 3,2 GHz. Drie andere prestatiekernen zijn gebaseerd op de A710 maar klokken tot 2,5 GHz. Verder zijn er vier energiebesparende kernen geïntegreerd die zijn gebaseerd op de ARM Cortex-A510 architectuur en klokken tot 1,8 GHz. Naast de processorkernen integreert de SoC een WiFi 6e modem, een Hexagon DSP (voor AI-versnelling) en een Spectra ISP. De geïntegreerde geheugencontroller ondersteunt snel LPDDR5-geheugen met maximaal 3.200 MHz. 5G is nu opgenomen in de chip met de Snapdragon X65-modem. Vergeleken met de niet-plus versie biedt de 8+ Gen 1 een 200 MHz hoger geklokte Prime Core en een 10% hoger geklokte GPU. Bovendien wordt hij nu geproduceerd bij TSMC en niet meer bij Samsung.
