Out of all the cheap Chromebooks, the Lenovo Flex 11 is one of the only models that offers extra built-in durability.

Chromebooks come in all shapes and sizes. A few, like the Acer Chromebook 14, are even tougher than the sturdy Flex 11. A few have extra features, like the Asus Flip's backlit keyboard or the light on the Dell Education 2-in-1's lid that a student can use to signal a teacher at the front of the classroom. But as a well-equipped performer priced barely above a bare-bones non-convertible, the Lenovo is a flat-out bargain. We'd keep it away from liquids, but give it a solid recommendation.

If you're looking for a Chromebook that's durable and a great fit for a youngster, the Flex 11 is the best buy. I wasn't thrilled with the keyboard, and the display isn't the brightest I've tested, but the overall package has plenty to make up for the shortcomings. If buying for a student with an interest in learning to type, I have to change my recommendation and suggest that you'll simply need to spend more money for the Lenovo N23 Education model which provides a rugged frame and much better keyboard.

The Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook is a durable 2-in-1 with enough processing power to handle multitasking for homework and research. Its screen is bland, though, and the keyboard is shallow and flat, so it's not the best to type on. If you have a bit more money, the $329 Dell Chromebook 3189 is also a durable, education-focused 2-in-1, but it lasted longer on our battery test. But for $40 in savings, the Lenovo Flex 11 keeps up with its rivals in the education space regarding performance (and surpasses its cheapest rival in Acer) with a capable 2-in-1, marred by only a few unfortunate blemishes.

Imagination PowerVR GX6250:

Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.
