In its attempt at that, the gaming laptop does well to provide fluid gameplay but the load that the system is constantly under to afford the same is palpable, especially in the form of fewer battery hours. As a result, it seems to be a laptop that may only appeal to a specific niche of gamers. The Omen 17 does a fairly impressive job as a gaming laptop. For enthusiasts who want to take the 13th-gen Core i9 and RTX 4080 combo on a spin in the laptop form, Omen 17 is the way to go, as long as they are willing to fork a rather hefty asking price.

EN→NLThe HP Omen 17 is the only high-end 40 series GPU laptop we’ve tested so far this year, it’s got a leg up on the competition, and at a price of Rs 3,03,501, it’s weirdly enough affordable for the specs on offer making it an enticing choice even for desktop gamers looking for an upgrade. Of course, with more and more 40 series laptops making their way into the market, this might change, but until then, the HP Omen 17 is certainly worth checking out.

NVIDIA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU:
High-end grafische kaart voor laptops gebaseerd op de Ada Lovelace-architectuur. Biedt 12 GB GDDR6 (192 bit) en is configureerbaar met een TGP van 60 - 150 W (+ Dynamic Boost).
Deze grafische kaarten zouden de meeste moderne spellen op een hoge resolutie en hoge details moeten kunnen draaien (enkele uitzonderingen zijn mogelijk).

i9-13900HX: Mobiele CPU gebaseerd op de Raptor Lake serie die 24 cores biedt (8 prestatie-, 16 efficiëntiekernen) met een Boost core tot 5,8 GHz voor de P-cores. Vergelijkbaar met de Desktop i9-13900K, maar met lagere kloksnelheden en TDP.
