De 2021 Envy x360 15 krijgt een kleine facelift en een processorupdate ten opzichte van de 2020-versie. Als je het niet erg vindt om Thunderbolt-ondersteuning over te slaan, dan kan het nieuwe model in veel opzichten beter zijn dan de Spectre x360 15.

It's on the heavier side though, and using it in tablet mode isn't the most comfortable experience we've had with a 2-in-1, but the positives far outweigh these points for us. Some might disagree though, and we certainly wouldn't blame them.

Ik heb de HP Envy x360 15-ew0972nd bij coolblue gekocht. Aangezien ik deze hier niet vindt en deze qua specs identiek is plaats ik deze review toch hier. Lekker snelle laptop waarop ondanks dat er geen dedicated videokaart in zit toch een potje mee te gamen is.

HP: Het Amerikaanse bedrijf werd opgericht in 1939 en is een belangrijke server- en printerfabrikant en een van de toonaangevende IT-bedrijven ter wereld. Tot 2015 heette het bedrijf Hewlett-Packard Company. Na een splitsing werd de computerdivisie omgedoopt tot HP Inc.
In 2023 had HP een geschat marktaandeel van 22% van de wereldwijde pc-verkoop, waarmee het nummer 2 werd na Lenovo.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
AMD Vega 8:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart van de Ryzen-APU's gebaseerd op de Vega-architectuur met 8 CU's (= 512 shaders) en een kloksnelheid tot 1750 MHz.

Mobiele Octa-Core APU met Zen 2 cores geklokt op 1,8 tot 4,3 GHz en een Vega grafische kaart met 8 CU's geklokt op maximaal 1900 MHz.
R5 5500U:
Mobiele APU met zes kernen die gebruik maakt van Zen 2 kernen geklokt op 2,1 tot 4 GHz en een Vega grafische kaart met 7 kernen geklokt op maximaal 1800 MHz. Vergelijkbaar met de oude Ryzen 5 4500U.
Intel Alder Lake-P:
i7-1260P:
Een CPU uit de Alder Lake familie voor het hogere middensegment, met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. Deze 28 W SoC is ontworpen voor gebruik in ultralichte laptops. De Core i7-1260P's prestatie-kernen zijn uitgerust met Hyper-Threading, voor een totaal van 16 threads. Deze 12e generatie CPU draait op 1,5 GHz tot 4,7 GHz en ondersteunt vPro-functies van het "Essentials"-niveau. Tot slot heeft de Core i7-1260P een ingebouwde 96 EU Iris Xe GPU, in tegenstelling tot bepaalde 11e generatie Tiger Lake-UP3-onderdelen.
i5-1240P:
Een middenklasse 28 W Alder Lake familie CPU met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. Deze SoC is ontworpen voor gebruik in ultralichte laptops. De prestatiekernen van de i5 zijn voorzien van de Hyper-Threading-technologie voor het verdubbelen van threads, voor een totaal van 16 threads. De Core i5-1240P draait op 1,2 GHz tot 4,4 GHz; hij heeft een ingebouwde Iris Xe GPU van 80 EU en ondersteunt vPro-functies van het "Essentials"-niveau.

Dit gewicht is typisch voor erg grote tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks en convertibles met een 11-13 inch schermdiagonaal.
1.86 kg:
Gewoonlijk hebben subnotebooks, ultrabooks en redelijk lichte laptops met een 12-16 inch schermdiagonaal dit gewicht.
75.4%: Dit cijfer is niet echt overtuigend. Het moet in acht worden genomen dat er bijna geen laptops zijn die een score onder de 60% hebben. Dit notebook is beneden gemiddeld beoordeeld, en is niet aanbevolen te kopen.
