EN→NLASUS ZenBook Pro 15 UX535’s main panel is touch-sensitive. It has a UHD resolution, reasonably high maximum brightness, comfortable viewing angles, and an exceptional contrast ratio. Additionally, we were impressed by its full sRGB and DCI-P3 coverage. As you can imagine, this makes the picture extremely vibrant and subjectively good-looking. What we found weird is the lack of memory upgrades, which is a huge disadvantage, compared to the HP Envy 15 (15-ep0000). On the bright side, the ZenBook Pro packs a Thunderbolt 4 connector, and an SD card slot.

EN→NLThe ASUS ZenBook Pro 15 UX535 makes a good first impression. The 4K display is beautiful and the notebook has pretty nice specifications. Users with lots of files will appreciate that it has a separate 1TB HDD on top of its 512GB SSD, and gamers will rejoice that it has a respectable mid-range discrete GPU (albeit a dated one) for gaming. The only shortcomings that I can see in my time with it are its slightly dated (but still powerful) processor and lack of USB-C charging. If these don’t bother you, the S$2,498 ZenBook Pro 15 UX535 is a very solid 15-inch notebook.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is een grote Taiwanese fabrikant van computerhardware gevestigd in Taipei, opgericht in 1989. Onder de merknaam Asus produceert het bedrijf een breed scala aan producten, waaronder laptops, desktops, moederborden, grafische kaarten, monitoren, smartphones en netwerkapparatuur, complete systemen en pc-onderdelen voor eindgebruikers.
Onder de merknaam ROG (Republic of Gamers) produceert ASUS gaming laptops die bij gamers bekend staan om hun krachtige specificaties, speciale grafische kaarten, schermen met hoge verversingssnelheid en geavanceerde koelsystemen.
Naast gaming wordt een breed scala aan notebooks aangeboden voor verschillende behoeften en budgetten, van ultraslanke en lichtgewicht ultrabooks tot veelzijdige 2-in-1 convertibles en budgetvriendelijke opties. In 2023 had Asus wereldwijd een marktaandeel van 7% op de pc-markt.
De klanttevredenheid over ASUS-notebooks heeft betrekking op de prestaties, de functies en de goede prijs-prestatieverhouding van ASUS-notebooks. Zoals bij elk merk zijn er echter af en toe meldingen van problemen zoals oververhitting, drivercompatibiliteit of problemen met de bouwkwaliteit.
Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q: Grafische kaart uit het middensegment voor laptops die gebruik maken van een Turing TU117 chip zonder raytracing en Tensor kernen. Draait met lagere kloksnelheden dan een laptop GTX 1650 Ti om een veel lager stroomverbruik te bereiken (35 versus 50 - 80 Watt).
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q:
Mid-range discrete grafische kaart voor dunne en lichte laptops gebaseerd op de GTX 1650 maar met verlaagde kloksnelheden en energieverbruik. Is gebaseerd op de Turing-architectuur (TU117-chip in 12-nm-FFN) maar zonder ray-tracing of Tensor-cores.

Intel Comet Lake:
i7-10750H:
Een krachtige hexa-core processor ontworpen voor de dikkere laptops met ruimte voor betere thermiek. De Comet Lake-H-processor is vervaardigd op het third-gen 14 nm Intel-proces en is voorzien van de UHD Graphics 630 iGPU geklokt op 350 MHz tot 1.150 MHz. De CPU-kernen draaien op 2,6 GHz (basiskloksnelheid) met een boost tot 5 GHz en de waarschijnlijke all-core Boost-frequentie is 4,3 GHz. Hyper-Threading ondersteuning is ingeschakeld, waardoor twee threads gelijktijdig kunnen draaien op elke core.
i5-10300H:
Op Comet Lake architectuur (4e gen van Skylake) gebaseerde processor voor grote en zware laptops. Integreert vier processorkernen geklokt op 2,5 - 4,5 GHz (4,2 GHz met 4 kernen) die HyperThreading ondersteunen.
i7-10870H:
Op Coffee Lake gebaseerde processor voor grote en zware laptops. Integreert acht processorkernen geklokt op 2,2 - 5 GHz (alle 8 kernen tot 4,2 GHz) die HyperThreading ondersteunen. Vervaardigd op het derde-gen 14 nm Intel-proces.
