ASUS Vivobook S15 OLED is a great continuation of the line. The new laptop can be justifiably praised on almost every point. The company has done a great job on the details, and a user who is not too lazy to spend a little time at the beginning of the work to study all the details and settings will really feel all the advantages of the new Vivobook S15. Yes, it's still not that perfect laptop with a metal body and no flaws, but it's pretty close to it. And yes, the model is not the cheapest (the official price in Ukraine is UAH 54,499), but with all the "pluses" it is worth it.

If it’s an ultrabook with some serious power and a marvellous OLED panel you’re after, the Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED (2023) is an excellent choice. Its performance is particularly impressive, with it beating some significantly more expensive ultrabooks, like the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED (2023). What’s more, that OLED display, in spite of its meagre resolution, was fantastic in offering deep blacks, marvellous contrast and sublime image quality. The design may be a little uninspiring by comparison to other laptops at this price and a little higher, but what’s here is functional, including a comfortable and tactile keyboard and trackpad, and decent port selection. Despite this, it does look better than its closest match, the Acer Swift Go 14, while also offering a dedicated graphics option to boot. Its battery life is also fantastic. The Vivobook S 15 OLED (2023) may not offer cutting-edge design, but it sure is a reliable and powerful one.

The device also comes with a number of additional features, such as an integrated fingerprint sensor, support for Windows Hello, compatibility with MyASUS apps, and many other small improvements that make up the overall package. In our opinion, the Asus VivoBook S15 OLED is an excellent all-around device that offers a fantastic balance of features, performance, and value. Although the device has shortcomings in some areas, such as the lack of a dedicated GPU, an average webcam, and the quality of the speakers, which ASUS can work on and improve in future versions, it still offers great value for its price range.

But not everyone needs such efficient equipment either. Yes, competitors have already started producing laptops with OLED screens, but ASUS has the most successful models. ASUS Vivobook S15 OLED can be a good companion for everyday use. The laptop is durable, lightweight, and equipped with antimicrobial protection. It has an OLED panel, runs on modern Intel solutions: a Core i9-13900H processor and an Arc A350M graphics card. It also comes with a powerful battery. Vivobook S 15 OLED is a laptop that I would call “solid”. Its biggest strengths are its great display, sound quality, and reliable components. I can confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable device for work or play – it will work perfectly everywhere.

So, what do I think about this laptop? Honestly, you’re buying this laptop for the looks but ASUS provides more value than just the looks along. The bag is surprisingly functional while looking nice at the same time, and the laptop is a fashion statement. It’s absolutely gorgeous. For the price of RM6,499, I think that if you want a nice-looking yet actually good limited edition laptop, then yeah buy this bundle. Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is een grote Taiwanese fabrikant van computerhardware gevestigd in Taipei, opgericht in 1989. Onder de merknaam Asus produceert het bedrijf een breed scala aan producten, waaronder laptops, desktops, moederborden, grafische kaarten, monitoren, smartphones en netwerkapparatuur, complete systemen en pc-onderdelen voor eindgebruikers.

Onder de merknaam ROG (Republic of Gamers) produceert ASUS gaming laptops die bij gamers bekend staan om hun krachtige specificaties, speciale grafische kaarten, schermen met hoge verversingssnelheid en geavanceerde koelsystemen.

Naast gaming wordt een breed scala aan notebooks aangeboden voor verschillende behoeften en budgetten, van ultraslanke en lichtgewicht ultrabooks tot veelzijdige 2-in-1 convertibles en budgetvriendelijke opties. In 2023 had Asus wereldwijd een marktaandeel van 7% op de pc-markt.

De klanttevredenheid over ASUS-notebooks heeft betrekking op de prestaties, de functies en de goede prijs-prestatieverhouding van ASUS-notebooks. Zoals bij elk merk zijn er echter af en toe meldingen van problemen zoals oververhitting, drivercompatibiliteit of problemen met de bouwkwaliteit.

Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.

Intel A350M:

De Intel Arc A350M is een speciale mobiele grafische kaart op instapniveau, gebaseerd op de Xe HPG microarchitectuur. Hij biedt 6 kernen (96 ALU's), 6 ray tracing eenheden en een basiskern van 1150 MHz. De TGP is gespecificeerd tussen 25 en 35 Watt.

Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-13700H: Op Alder Lake gebaseerde mobiele CPU met 6 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. De prestatie-kernen bieden hyper-threading, wat leidt tot 20 threads die verwerkt kunnen worden. De CPU klokt tot 5 GHz. Vergeleken met de i9-13900HK wordt er geen eenvoudige overklokfunctie ondersteund, maar wel een volledige vPro-beheerfunctieset.

i5-13500H: Op Alder-Lake gebaseerde mobiele CPU met 4 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. De prestatie-kernen bieden hyper-threading, wat leidt tot 16 threads die verwerkt kunnen worden. De CPU klokt tot 4,7 GHz en ondersteunt vPro.

i9-13900H: Op Alder Lake gebaseerde mobiele CPU met 6 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. De prestatie-kernen bieden hyper-threading, wat leidt tot 20 threads die verwerkt kunnen worden. De CPU klokt tot 5,4 GHz. Vergeleken met de i9-13900HK wordt er geen eenvoudige overklokfunctie ondersteund, maar wel een volledige vPro-beheerfunctieset.
