EN→NLThe Dell Latitude 15 3540 is suitable for office or home usage because of the comfortable keyboard and the optional PWM-free IPS display (AUO MCX7D-B156HAN (AUO4599)). The latter has wide viewing angles and a good contrast ratio. The sRGB coverage and the color accuracy are nothing to write home about but that’s fine since the laptop isn’t meant for content creation of color-sensitive work. We bought a machine with the top-end CPU option for the series which is the Core i7-1355U. During long max loads, the Team Blue chip can maintain 2.37 GHz for the P cores and 69°C temperature which is good enough for normal tasks. The fan isn’t quiet but it’s not too noisy either. By the way, the overall performance of our machine is a bit limited by the fact that there is just one 8GB RAM stick installed that works in a single-channel mode.

Intel Iris Xe G7 96EUs:
Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G4 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 96 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

i7-1355U: Op Alder Lake gebaseerde mobiele CPU met 2 prestatie-kernen en 8 efficiënte kernen. De prestatie-kernen bieden hyper-threading, wat leidt tot 12 threads die verwerkt kunnen worden. De CPU klokt van 1,2 tot 5 GHz. De TDP is gespecificeerd op 15 Watt.
