This reminds us that you get good upgradability and port selection which makes this device future-proof. The keyboard and the touchpad are also good enough for work or daily usage. We could only wish for a bit more solid main body. The optional IPS display (N156HCA-EAB (CMN1561)) is business as usual. It’s PWM-free which is the most important thing for prolonged hours of usage. The panel’s viewing angles are wide and the max brightness reaches 342 nits. Expectedly, the color coverage and the accuracy are nothing to write home about. The TravelMate P2 is an inexpensive office workhorse that may attract future buyers with its IPS display, good battery life, rich port selection, and nice upgradability.

Geïntegreerde grafische kaart in Intel Tiger Lake G7 SoC's op basis van de nieuwe Gen. 12-architectuur met 80 EU's (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). De kloksnelheid is afhankelijk van het processormodel. De Tiger Lake chips worden geproduceerd in het moderne 10nm+ proces bij Intel.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
