EN→NLI’ve done my best to be even handed across this review; noting that I’m fully aware that gaming is an accessory sport, and a headset is a necessity if you’re going to be using this as your primary gaming device. Moving past that issue I had with the sound, the machine is an absolute beast. You can take a closer look at the usual bricks and mortar stores, or if you’re happy buying online; through Acer online for $3,898.00 at the time of publishing this review.

EN→NLThe Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 may not offer the fastest gaming or general performance in the mid-range gaming category, but it offers enough to meet the needs of most people at that price range. I’m not sure an esports professional would opt for the Predator Triton Neo 16 over a gaming laptop with better-optimized thermals, but for most gamers and content creators, it’s certainly sufficient. Where the Triton Neo 16 shines is its high-quality 240Hz IPS display and slick, AI-powered webcam. It’s also got Acer’s solid build quality and a chassis sleek enough to fit in at the office or in class without raising too many “gaming laptop” flags. It also features decent battery life, which can get through a few hours of work when away from an outlet, making it a solid choice for STEM students. And if you can find the Triton Neo 16 on sale, it is a worthy bargain. But if you’re looking for a better gaming laptop value, consider the Dell G16 (7630) instead.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU: High-end grafische kaart voor laptops gebaseerd op de Ada Lovelace-architectuur. Biedt 8 GB GDDR6 (128 Bit) en is configureerbaar met een TGP van 35 - 115 W (+ Dynamic Boost).
Deze middenklasse grafische kaarten kunnen alle huidige spellen vloeiend spelen. Veeleisende spellen kunnen alleen met gemiddelde detail instellingen gespeeld worden.

Ultra 9 185H: Een top-of-the-line Meteor Lake-chip die in december 2023 zijn debuut maakte. Deze Core Ultra-processor van de 1e generatie vervangt de Core-chips van de 13e generatie; hij beschikt over 16 kernen (6 + 8 + 2) en 22 threads. De Performance-kernen, waarvan er 6 zijn, draaien op maximaal 5,1 GHz, terwijl de Efficient-kernen, waarvan er 10 zijn (8 hoofdkernen plus 2 extra in het Low Power Island) op maximaal 3,8 GHz draaien. De 8-core Arc GPU, net uit de oven, doet dienst als geïntegreerde grafische adapter - deze draait op maximaal 2,35 GHz - en er is nog een heleboel andere gloednieuwe technologieën beschikbaar, zoals de geïntegreerde AI Boost NPU met twee Gen 3 engines voor hardwarematige AI-werklastversnelling. Het "basis"stroomverbruik van deze laptopprocessor is 45 W, terwijl het Turbo stroomverbruik niet boven de 115 W mag komen.
