It is a bit of an irony- the better specced Redmi Note 8 (and even the Note 8 Pro) has to face some stiff competition, but its lesser brother stands in a zone of its own.

The Redmi Note 8 gave mixed results in the camera department. Although, it delivers some good results in daylight conditions with photos coming out with good details and dynamic range is to the point. However, in low light conditions, the results are quite average. The photos came out to full of grains and noises were clearly visible in the images. The shots taken from 48MP camera delivered good results in low light conditions, though in daylight, there was not much of a difference. The selfie performance is decent in daylight, though in low light it surely shimmers.
