Gelukkig zijn er ook allerlei zaken wel goed in deze Xperia XA2. De batterij is goed, de XA2 heeft een mooi en eigenzinnig ontwerp en het toestel heeft fijne software. Voor €330 is het totaalplaatje van deze smartphone wel gewoon in orde. Veel verder dan dat komt hij echter niet. Daarmee blijft de Xperia XA2 een vrij gemiddelde middensegmenter die vooral voor liefhebbers van het ontwerp of de software van Sony de moeite waard is.

As a summary, the Xperia XA2 runs quite well on the internal hardware, and it should last you all day on the battery. It doesn’t have the best camera at night but it does pretty well during the day, and offers pretty decent 4K video. I also quite like the design, the rear mounted fingerprint sensor is fast and works well, and it’s USB-C which is good to see in the mid-range.

With their snappy performance and solid battery life, the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra offer good value for their money, and despite the few minor issues here and there, I'd say that they'll satisfy users who want to get the most bang for their buck and don't want to spend a fortune on a new phone. Would I use any of these as a personal device? Yes, though I'd probably go for the XA2 as the larger XA2 Ultra doesn't really have enough exclusive features to win me over. If you're into selfies, however, the larger XA2 Ultra would be the one to go with.

Alleen oudere games kunnen vloeiend draaien met deze grafische chips (als ze niet veeleisend zijn). Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.

Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
