Een fijn en compacte laptop. Welke echt mega snel is! Ik ben vooral erg te spreken over de batterijduur waar ik zonder proberen een hele dag non stop mee kon werken. Daarnaast is het scherm met touchscreen geweldig. Echt wat je van samsung gewend bent. De samenwerking met mijn S24 Ultra en tablet is ook enorm goed. Je zet brengt enig probleem alles naar elkaar over, zodat je op geen enkel apparaat iets hoeft te missen. Het design is ook heel nice.. met name ook de functies van de touchpad en de vingerafdrukscanner. Enige minpuntje is dat je al snel vingervlekken ziet over de touchpad en toetsen.

EN→NLThe current £200 discounts Samsung is offering on both the 14in and 16in Galaxy Book5 Pro models make them good value, and both machines have their strong points, primarily their high-quality 2.8K AMOLED touchscreen displays, good performance levels and ability to accommodate a second SSD. In the glass-half-empty column, the design is rather stale and uninspired, the webcam is subpar, the keyboard shallow, and the battery life is not on par with the competition. Given the intensity of the competition in this part of the laptop market, it’s difficult not to think that Samsung should be trying just a wee bit harder.

The AMOLED display is stunning to consume content on, and the 16:10 aspect ratio gives you a bit more real estate for productivity. The 120Hz refresh rate makes interacting with the touchscreen display butter smooth. The Intel Core Ultra 5 – 226V powering this laptop is powerful enough to take on the competition and outperforms Qualcomm’s offerings. If a laptop with good battery life and seamless everyday productivity is what you want, you can consider this laptop.

Intel Arc 140V: Een behoorlijk snelle geïntegreerde grafische adapter die naar verluidt bepaalde Intel Lunar Lake processors gebruiken. De 140V heeft 8 kernen met Xe²-architectuur die draaien op maximaal 2.050 MHz en 8 ray tracing-eenheden; hij is geschikt voor DirectX 12 Ultimate en ondersteunt ook alle moderne videocodecs. Als recente uitgelekte benchmarkscores een indicatie zijn, zullen de gamingprestaties iets beter zijn dan die van de GeForce MX570.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.

Core Ultra 7 258V: Een processor uit de Lunar Lake familie voor het hogere middensegment. Dit is een SoC voor gebruik in slankere laptops en tablets met 4 nieuwe E-cores en 4 nieuwe P-cores op maximaal 4,8 GHz, samen met de veelbelovende nieuwe Arc 140V iGPU en 32 GB on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. Een nieuwe 47 TOPS neurale engine, TB 4 en PCIe 5 SSD ondersteuning zijn ook inbegrepen.

14.00": Dit schermformaat wordt vooral gebruikt voor subnotebooks, ultrabooks en convertibles. Voor alle drie types is dit formaat redelijk groot. De grootste verscheidenheid aan subnotebooks wordt vertegenwoordigd in deze klasse.
Grote schermformaten laten hogere resoluties toe. Details zoals letters zijn groter. Anderzijds is het energieverbruik lager bij kleine schermdiagonalen en de toestellen zijn kleiner, lichter en goedkoper.
