However, we recommend you only use the 3D mode for watching 3D Blu-ray movies and stick to gaming in 2D with the graphics detail up high. While the AlienWare M17x-R3 is still a cut above, it's also a fair bit more expensive than this Samsung model.

Gaming notebooks are generally not cheap, with most models starting well above S$3000. For top of the line units, with similar specs and entertainment capabilities, expect to pay up to S$5000+. Bearing that in mind, we were pleasantly surprised to see Samsung price the 700G7A at a very modest S$2899. Best of all, you’re not sacrificing performance at that price.

AMD Radeon HD 6970M: High-end grafische kaart van AMD gebaseerd op de desktop HD 6850 en beschikt dan ook over de UVD3 video processor en Eyefinity.
Deze grafische kaarten zouden alle huidige spellen moeten kunnen draaien, maar de meeste spellen zullen alleen met gemiddelde of lage detail instellingen en lage resoluties goed werken. Oudere of minder veeleisende spellen kunnen nog wel met goede grafische instellingen gespeeld worden.
