Voor 249 euro doet de Oppo A9 2020 veel dingen goed. Je krijgt een smartphone met maar liefst vijf camera’s en volop mogelijkheden om los te gaan met foto’s en video. Ondanks de plastic behuizing heeft het toestel een premium uitstraling en ook het geluid kan zich meten met veel duurdere toestellen. Indrukwekkend is ook de batterij. Dankzij de grote capaciteit van 5.000 mAh kom je als gebruiker meestal de twee dagen wel door. Sterker nog, dankzij de grote batterij weet de Oppo A9 2020 zelfs de meeste nieuwe vlaggenschepen achter zich te laten als het gaat om de batterijduur.

Uiteindelijk moet ik zeggen dat de Oppo A9 2020 mij positief verrast heeft. Het is een fijne en mooie middenklasser die vooral opvalt door zijn gigantische accu. Dat is echter zeker niet het enige voordeel: ook de goede camera en de stereospeakers zijn pluspunten van deze smartphone.

De camera's zijn redelijk voor de kwaliteitsklasse, maar je moet geen goddelijk schone plaatjes verwachten.

The Oppo A9 2020 is not the most impressive phone around on paper. It has a 720p screen and costs more than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, which has a 1080p display. Gedeeld geheugen grafische cores in deze categorie hebben het voordeel van minder warmte-ontwikkeling en langere batterijlooptijd. Voor kantoor, internet, beeldcorrectie- en videomonteringswerk zijn deze grafische chips nog steeds bruikbaar zonder enige beperkingen.
